Hi all

Please help me with all 2018 BS 7671 regulations with referals to new book please... on static caravans Electrical Hook up points and electrical protections and ,safety ...IP RATINGS..
Photos welcome.
Any Info very welcome

Wrong section, see the fourth paragraph of 721.1, residential (static) caravans are are treated as a normal installation.

Depends on the static caravan.... or “holiday homes” as they like to be called.
Residential static caravans are built to a different spec as a holiday type. Can’t remember the BS numbers now but there are differences.
Holiday statics are under the same category as touring caravans that you tow behind a car(or transit van, if you’re so inclined) whereas residential statics are treated like any bricks and mortar house.

Glad to see I’ve started another debate. :D I can’t stand the things, a bit like horse boxes. What’s the point, all they do is clog up the roads?

I can see I’m going to get a ribbing for this....

But I am a paid up member of the caravan and motor home club.

Every bank holiday... I’m out towing my little house on wheels, clogging up perfectly straight A roads.
I’m heading to Ayrshire next week. Prior warning so you can avoid

Every bank holiday weekend, caravans and speed boats.. like being trapped in an episode of bullseye

Super... Smashing.... Great.
Now see what you could’ve won... (if you could answer a question right and your mate could throw a dart straight)

Great old tv show. When people were happy going home with a money prize of ÂŁ146.... none of your million pound drops here...

I saw a repeat recently on Challange. A celebrity version with Linda lusardi, frank bruno and John mckrirrok(?)

Got to love 1980’s family entertainment jokes about ----- and black faces.:rolleyes:

and they won a speed boat, and live in the centre of Birmingham .or won a caravan for two people ,leaving the studio arguing who going to use it on the weekends .
