Steel plates to cap off notched joists

Try a decent ironmongers thats where I get that sort of thing from

maybe i'll use a metal capping strip and bond it sounds cheaper....

yeah got mine at local builders merchants !

capping offers no mechanical protection as for "bonding it" your gonny have earths allover the place :S:S

Hi the plates above from TLC are good I have used them a couple of times. Really no need to earth.

The ones I had from CEF made the floor board once fitted proud. Good but to thick.

I regularly use these, A builder gave me a few wall hangers the other day. I cut them down and they work well too.
