Step by step for NICEIC Assessment,

Hello guys,

I'd like to know how do i have to do to get NIC domestic installer. I'll apply for this and I'll take him to my job that would be a Change of Consumer Unit and a Spur Socket installation.

The thing is: Wich details do i have to worry? What is the usually question that they ask? How is the procedure for everything? How do i have certify the customer, if I'm not competent person yet and what do i have to do in this case? Do i have to get the insurance before apply?

Thank you very very much, for your help:)

Have you received this from them yet?

It says Approved contractor on the top, but I received this for domestic installer enrolement.

Some examples of questions will be things like:

(When measuring a Ze or Zdb) What earthing system is this? and what is the maximum Ze reading you can to obtain?
(When testing an RCD) What is the maximum disconnection times on x1 and x5 rated tripping currents?
(When carrying out a pfc and psc test) What does that information mean regarding your chosen MCB's?

You will likely be asked to illustrate your safe isolation procedure also.
