Discuss step up a no, no in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Up to 32A and all portable equipment 110v selv or pelv, fixed equipment in some instances above 32A but even then with rcd protection no greater than 500ma and a very long method statement ;)

As asked already why :confused::(

240V tools are now allowed on site with adequate RCD protection, alongside 110.

However, it is down to the individual site as to whether they will allow it or not.
