We have a small job coming up next month for which we need just four 250w panels.

I was wondering if anyone had any random leftovers in their stores that they would like to shift.

The brand and colour is unimportant. They must simply be 250w, MCS accredited and undamaged. We'd prefer MC4s.

If you've got old stock gathering dust in the dark corners of your warehouse that you'd like to clear, please make me an offer by PM.

The job's in Devon and we're in Yorkshire so it may be possible to collect them on the way.

I'll check, but I think we have 4 x Yingli 250Wp poly's, and 4 x HJ solar 235Wp poly taking up space in the warehouse.

I did have some ideas about setting up some side by side testing, but would probably prefer to turn them back into cash if the option was there.

In interested?

Thanks for the offer, Gavin. The HJ's wouldn't be acceptable but the Yinglis might. The client needs 1kWp to meet some building regulation so is doing the bare minimum which is a shame as the roof is pretty big & the solar potential is pretty great. The cost per Wp is chronic and they don't even want to register for FiTs which is over ÂŁ150 p.a. down the drain. I have managed to persuade them to face the panels vaguely south.

I'm in two minds about whether to go down there in a van or car as we hardly need to take anything. It's on the doorstep of Nu-vision and Sungift so we could easily pick up some scraps there. We need to do the job next month so I'll get back to you in a few weeks...
