Storage for Stock Parts

All - looking for ideas!

I do mainly domestic work and thus carry a lot of "standard" parts around with me. Most of it is in cardboard boxes but I'd like to store the bits in something a bit more robust to ensure that its all kept nice and prestine!

Any product/storage ideas from the members?

I use the "really useful" range of storage boxes, large one with smaller ones inside (not ideal but very flexible).

Well, not too much BUT if theres a good recommendation then I may spend more.

If it's to go in a van, then you could get some of those Dexion type storage bins that go onto a louvre panel.
Although there is the worry, that they will jump off, if you go over big bumps, or that small items will jump out.
Other than that, perhaps those large plastic stacking storage crates that you see outside £ shops.

I use those crates that delivery companies use, get them for £4 off eBay or if you know someone working at a warehouse they are free

What do you have in mind?

Custom fit Bott/Sortimo racking with the detachable storage bins etc.

Quite a few quids but could be worth it.

I use the clear plastic ones, with lids, from B&Q.
Easy to stack on each other, I can see what's in the box and so far no broken ones.
Cheap but I'm chearful.

Supermarket plastic trays for veg the small ones are great still use the cardboard boxes to stop scuffing tho
