Hi guys
I have been asked if its possible to change the use of a CU feeding storage heaters in a domestic property.
The client has removed the storage heaters and wants to replace them with panel heaters so she has more flexibility with heating (i did explain that new SH are much better nowadays providing better flexibility and economy etc and that short term savings in price would blah blah blah). The panel heaters loadings would not be a problem as all circuits 2.5 radials but the CU is on a teleswitch. Would EDf disconnect tails from teleswitch enabling tails to be joined in Henley block and who needs notifying or are they likely to just take her off economy 7? The property is protected by BS1361 100A supply with 25mm tails.
Advice appreciated!!

Max Demand calculation to see if loading will be ok, get edf to fit isolator, split and joint consumer side tails and upgrade to current regs, give client calc and fit label on both dbs detailing max demand.

Did the same sort of job last week and it was a right nghtmare to try and convince the supplier what need doing regarding isolator and tail. There coming in the morning to disconnect telemeter and fit an isolator. They wont even take the tails out of telemeter and put into existing henlys, as they say all they can do is install the isolator.
