I have a client who has night storage heating. one of the heaters is not heating up very much. What could be the problem? how can I test the heater?

1 Burnt cable
2 Burnt termination
3 Element breaking down
4.Broken Bricks
5 Inside so completely choked hindering heat
6 Faulty thermostat
7 Faulty overload protection cutting out at a lower temperature

So you can IR test the element, you can strip it down and visually check the cables and terminations, visually check the bricks and inside condition.

Thermostat you can bypass for temporary to see if it is fault the same with the overload.

Word of warning al ot of the older units may have asbestos ................
