Hi guys,
Need to mend a faulty storage heater where basically a loose neutral from the supply flex or a fault has burnt out the internal connector block supplying the heater.
Its a Robinson Wiley SH18M and I don't think its going to be too easy to get a like for like replacement connector block.
You've basically got your standard L/N/E in and then the other end has crimp connectors where you have 2 neutrals, 1 line, and 1 earth with crimp ends which just slide onto the connectors.
Is there a way round this i.e can i just cut the crimp ends off the cables and just terminate them all in a heat resistant connector block (maybe 16a ceramic) that would be able to withstand the heat of a storage heater? Or would it best to just try and source the original part?
Cheers
