In what respect? Do you mean will they work at night?
I would say its unlikely to have any effect really. The w/m of a 600w son lamp compared to the sun is pretty insignificant really unless it was about a foot away from the array. And there were a bloody lot of em.

Better than that!

We are aware of one installation very close to Old Trafford, that get himselfs extra leccy whenever Man U are playing a night game at home from their floodlights. (He was confused why his inverter was working untill he went outside and saw how bright it was!)

Full spectrum solar panels are already used in aero-space projects. Full spectrum technology when applied to commercial panels would result in the significant conversion of light from any street light source. Siemens and Matsu****a (filter blocking manufacturers name! Save us from the PC society) are though to be close to producing affordable commercial panels.
This technology is based on the work of research scientists at the University of California in 2002 that found that a single system of alloys incorporating indium, gallium, and nitrogen can convert virtually the full spectrum of sunlight -- from the near infrared to the far ultraviolet -- to electrical current.
