Strip light

I've just replaced a lighting strip in my grandson,s garage but the light still doesn't work. What could be the fault?

just the tube possibly..? check and see if you're getting power up to the fitting

he replaced the light unit, so assume it cant be the lamp or starter as they would be new.

probably stopped working, so thought straight away that the light must be dead lol

then re-fitted the original lamp ! lol

though its unusual for a florry to just stop working.

usually they will go into disco flash mode, or glow at the ends.

unless its a HF fitting, they shut off to prevent damage

bet he prized the caps out and sort of fitted the tube instead of slipping the tube into the slots and turning the tube a bit

rather have a tandoori chicken leg. then follow that with a 16oz. sirloin, medium rare, with chips, mushrooms, JD sauce, washed down with copious amount of real ale and/or paul masson red.
