Hi, we have just installed our first Solar PV system (and have our MCS assessment in the morningjust to add to our stress!) and would be grateful if anyone could help toanswer the following parts?
  • SSEG Rating and power factor - We installed a Sunny Boy 1200 inverter
  • Maximum peak short circuit current (A)
  • Emergency stop data sheet / schematic? - Do we need this / where can we get one
  • A copy of a client end checklist / handover sheet,

Any help will be gratefully received!

Hi,

The back of the DTI has a list of example forms for the checklist. There are numerous threads on here containing example schematic diagrams. The Sunnyboy data sheet details the SSEG rating and PF. A SB1200 has a rating of 6.1A and PF=1.

Maximum peak short circuit current in non applicable as its inverter based. We always write N/A - Inverter Based.

Hope this helps.

I use powerpoint for schematics which seems to do the job. the first one is a pain but I then just adapt that for subsequent ones.
