Hi guys,

Just after any recommendations of books that cover fault finding tips and tricks on industrial covering Plc and generators?

Any help greatly appreciated

HW.

Just to add, I'm not a practicing electrician anymore I design and program control systems for a multinational system integrator. So any PLC questions I'll be quite happy to answer.

I'm on here mostly to keep my hand in the sides of electrical work I don't do so much of anymore.

Took a look last night, I have a couple of books. They're a little dated but the theory is still the same.

I forgot to take a picture or jot the titles down, I will remember tonight!

That's the book, like I mentioned a little dated (2004) but all the principals are still good.

Should be able to find it cheep online somewhere, if not I'm sure we can come to some agreement.

As for PLC fault finding, like I mentioned before it's such a vast field that differs brand to brand there really isn't a one stop book.

Rockwell have a huge pdf store called the knowledge base that can be accessed for free same with Siemens. Anything specific you need to know about PLC's I can answer from here and likely point you at specific literature to save you trawling through information which is likely to be too heavy going/irrelevant for you at your current level.
