Hi all.
Installing a cooker hood.
Pre installed flex too short so I opened it up to fit a longer flex.
Removed the old flex before noting which was which.
Would you be able to tell which is live and neutral from this picture?
Is it blue on the right or brown on the right.?
Grey goes to internal light.
Purple goes to the control panel.
The "other" brown goes to the fan motor.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I think it's highly unlikely you're going to get an answer. If we were there with access to it, we may be able to figure it out with testing, but as is without more information it's unlikely you'll get an answer that can help.

The additional information that may be useful is make and model.

When you removed the cable, did you tighten the screws of the terminal block right back down or did you leave them loose? It's possible you may be able to get a hint by feeling the resistance of the screws... if you can get a feel for how tight the ones you definitely didn't undo are, you may be able to feel the two you undid if they are tightened up by a different amount, but that's a very hit and miss approach.

Sorry I wasn't clearer, it's a or b as per pics.
