ok so altered sub main feeding annex to commence building work for an extension. the sub main is 10mm T&E with my altered bit swa outside cleated temporarly. so gota do sub main permantely and i think best way is to run sub main again from house fuseboard. so main earth has to be 16mm, or do i use earth stake? also what do i do about discrimination between rcds as i can't put the whole lot on 1 rcd at house fusboard as that doesn't comply neither. any help appreciated cheers jay.

Whats the current earthing arrangement TT TN-S TNC-S, What kind of board is feeding the current installation eg, Duall rcd, Split Board, ect Just trying to figure your options.

I would go for a high integrity duall rcd board at the mains position, Install an rcbo to one of the unprotected ways and feed your submain from that. That way, you won't have any discrimination issues because your feeding the submain from a dedicated circuit. Then just use a smaller board for the annex with mcb's.
