Hi guys I need a bit of advice please i have started to document the installations i do at work. But cant remember how to use the results scheduals with regards to sub mains.
I have the main six way board which feeds a 36 way sub main board which feeds the 36 way board i have put in the new circuits. Does it require a seperate schedual and test results form for each board. or can they all some how go on the same form and do they have to be related to the number of the circuit ie if its way 12 it has to be on line 12 of the test results form
Thanks guys
Dave

Is this an EIC or a PIR.

Just so I get this right you have a 6 way board, and out of that you have taken a way to feed a 36 way board and then off that you have taken another way to feed another 36 way board. If that is right then who's design is that?

I'm assuming this is a commercial/industrial site and if so then suprised you don't have some sort of bus bar chamber or main swiching chamber to feed DB's from.

Personally I would issue each board it's own DB number ie DB 1 DB2 etc. You then have on your Schedule of results a place for the address of the board so for instance "DB 1 1st floor distribution room."

Then where it is Ze at origin I would put Zdb and do the Ze test at board with all earths connected. Then carry out the testing with a schedule of results for each board

Hi sorry it is a main switch chamber mdb 1 which feeds the first board dbq 4 but then at some point some one decided they needed another board further along the factory wall this is dbq 10.
from this i have added six new circuits supplying millers and lathes etc (radial 16A ) i am doing EIC for the new circuits.
The reason i am documenting is because i dont trust whats been done before
thanks.

Then you EIC will just cover your newly installed circuits which is DBQ 10 and your schedule of results would be the 6 new circuits plus the Zdb, type of supply etc etc.

Not trying to teach my granny to suck eggs but if you've installed 6 x 16 amp radials have you enough existing power to from dbq 10? I'm assumming that it is a TPN+e board.

Ah thanks so the main switch and protective device is for the main incomer to the factory and i dont need to worry about the mcb that dbq 10 is fed from . I just need the Zdb for dbq 10.
