I've never been paid for electrical works in other people's houses, data, IT and home automation yes, as a sparks no. Think you've missed understood. This summer house is at my partners house and will be my office

Not sure what size the SWA is, haven't inspected it enough to know yet. Cable run is about 6m and will be extended to about 6.5m.

No 32a in the DB is not RCD, but there is an RCD before it.

So long as the SWA is 4mm² or greater then the cable should be suitable for the load (depending on the installation conditions, but lets not go there).
As Tel says is you have two 30mA RCDs in series then a fault to earth at the summerhouse could well trip the RCD in the main board instead of the one in the summerhouse, so the one in the summerhouse is redundant, but can stay there so long as you are aware of the redundancy.

I will check the size of the SWA before I extend it. If it's not man enough I'll try and use it as a draw wire and pull a more suitable length through from start to finish; saying that, for the sake of a £20, I might just rerun the entire length anyway. We may even have a drum of 3 or 4 core 4/6mm[SUP]2[/SUP] at work I can nab (we dont us it often).

Thanks everyone!
