hello everyone . some friends of mine have just bought a sunbed from auction and have asked me to connect it up for them.
The watts rating is 6280 voltage 230 . my plan was to install a small rcd main switch, 1 way cu with a 32 amp type c mcb then run a 6mm cable to an isolator then connect flex from sunbed to isolator.
does this sound ok ? is there anything that these horrible cancer giving machines can throw at you ? that as a domestic spark who has never had anything to do with them should know?
thanks. dan.

Well a lot will depend where your installing regarding if it's in a special location. If it's a bedroom or as like then it's a normal installation. Your 6mm^ should give you a good enough Zs for the MCB as a 32amp C will be 0.58 ohms.

I would fit an RCBO rather than a RCD/MCB.
