Dear All,

As an MCS Accredited installer we, as a company have always mainly installed Suntech STP250's but I have been approached by another supplier this week talking about Znshine ZX250's.

In his opinion, they are far better panels than the Suntechs but I would like the opinions of fellow installers etc and see what they think.

So over to you?

What would you install, given the fact that the prices I'm being quoted are virtually the same?

Regards,

Steve

Sorry, not used either so can't comment directly although I am gradually coming round to thinking that, within reason and with a few exceptions, there's not much to choose between similarly spec'd modules. Plug the numbers into your PV design sofware and see what pops up. I think a lot of the 'best' modules seem to be triumphs of marketing rather than engineering and personal opinions cloud the issue further.

Why does you supplier favour Znshine, other than the fact he sells them?

Same ive not installed either, given Suntech are the largest manufacture over in China and a Tear 1 company i would maybe favour them over the other, but anytime ive run Suntech through PV SOL they always come out good.

Would not use either. Neither company likely to last 25 years and honour its warranties. Neither company in top 100 of the EuPD tests on over 300 manufacturers.
Only top ten got seal of approval. Top chinese company was Upsolar at position 28. Much past that the predicted lifespan of modules particularly Poly predicted to be 4-5 years.

ZNShine came 1st in July/Aug 2011 photon tests.

We're not using ZN's because of the pricing and Rexel Renewables screwed us over

Hi guys, why not try Linuo panels? good prices on the most decent panels around, check them out on PV sol.

Unlike Suntech which its main focus is PV, Linuo is a cash rich diverse company in China

We have the Linuo 235w poly's in stock, for more info PM me.
