Super Morto

Hi all!,

The names Dave, and I found this website on Google believe it or not, and I think its a great idea to have a hub on the internet for electricians.

Hello again!

Im currently looking to start my own buisness, so have came here for some information. I have allready made a thread in another cat before I read the rules >>>> So sorry for that.

The area I live seems to have a shortage of decent honest sparkys, and im looking to get out of the current place I work. I did serve about 2.5 years of my apprenticeship way back in 1999, but through family trouble I had to leave before I got any of the theory side finished. But the good news is I had loads of experience with the practical side of things, 5-7 jobs a day 5-6 days a week for the 2 and a half years, working for kitchen companies, alarms doing rewires and all the other residential stuff. But now Im looking to get back into it.

The problem im having is I cant find exactly what I need, Im getting my info from different areas, including my current work place from industry sparkys.

Im reading alot about this part P on your site and it seems to be a big area of discussion. And I dont want to go down the wrong roads here folks, im 30 and need to get into this kind of work asap.

My other thread is here = http://www.electriciansforums.net/e...trical-forum/20112-what-do-i-need-sparky.html

So again hello and thank you for a great site, if I can help out in any area of the site I will,

Thank you again,

Dave.

Cheers for the welcome Jason,

I all ready like the place, been looking at some of the pictures in the show your work forum, geez, some folks have no pride in there work. And some just don't seem to understand how potentially lethal electricity is. But on the flip side some smart jobs done in there.

Ill be here for some time now, seems to be a good community full of help and advice.

Thanks again!

Dave.

Welcome to the forums, I am new here like you and there is loads of information and helpful people here. Good luck for your future as an electrician.
