Hi all,
this is my first post, apologies if it has been covered before.
I have a Supernova XE using PAT guard 2 software.
I have been able to upload to my PC before (once) but now can't.

All the normal things happen during upload but I do not get the "Storing data" message on the screen nor do I see the data in my tester after the upload.

Any clues would be appreciated!

Thanks.
Darren from OZ.

Hi Darren,
There may be a problem if you are using RS232 to USB via a USB adaptor, a lot of them don't like working with Seaward machines.Seaward will tell you that they can only guarentee that one model will definitely work with their equipment, it's one which they sell.I've tried another type which I bought from a reputable PAT equipment supplier and it works fine.
Hope Vic state is well and enjoying nice weather,

K-PAT.

Hi K PAT,
thank you for the suggestion.
I did check that out & looks like the cable is ok.
The problem is now sorted...

I had assumed all along that the upload had not worked when in fact it had.
I was searching through the data on the PAT but have now been informed I can't see "uploaded" data.
In the end it all worked out.

Thank you so much for your help.

Victoria is cold & beer is nice!

Cheers

Darren.

That is very cool. It would be the end user software that would make that the absolute king.
