Hi lads
Could someone please remind me of the requirements for supp bonding in a bathroom which has all circuits RCD protected, not got a regs book to hand.
Many Thanks

Assuming the RCD has an operating current of 30mA and all circuits in the bathroom are protected there is no requirement for any supplementary bonding.

Also assume that your main equipotential bonding is up to scratch of course.

It is not the case that if RCD protection is in place you can ignore supplementary bonding. All extraneous conductive parts within the location must be effectively connected to main bonding in accordance with 411.3.1.2....this generally means a continuity reading <1667 ohms.
701.415.2

It's highly unlikely that a bath will be an ECP....the pipes supplying it probably will be,so it is the pipes which may require bonding, not the bath.

You are quite right I forgot to add the three requirements of 701.415.2 . This was a topic in a recent post that I included the reg numbers.
