Supplier fuse

Hi,can anyone help,im trying to identify the supplier fuse in a domestic installation.alli can make out is british electric fuse type 228 tr 40,im assuming the 40 is the rating 40a,this to me seems very low,can this be right and how you you go about getting it increased,any advice greatly appreciated

To get it increased you will have to contact your supplier and request an Increase in electricity supply. they will send you an application form which you will need to complete as you are the Electrical Contractor. Fill in and return. Job done.
