The panel i looked at today has a flow fail light showing on all the supply fans. After looking for the breakers and looking at the light for a trip, all looked ok.

The fans are not running , but a flow fail light is on and the breakers have not tripped out.

Do you think the fans have been turned off at the isolator.

Cant see the isolator as their all at high level.

So any advice as to how i can test this problem ?

Thanks.

Some exhaust filters have an integral air flow switch as mentioned above it does sound like as mentioned above an air flow sensor somewhere has tripped, what voltage and ac/dc rating are the fans its more likely they are 12v/24v ac or dc which may be powered by a unit about the same size as a mcb but usually has a power indicator light on. These will shut down with fault or overload so disconnecting each fan and powering up may reset this power supply unit, that is if this is the system employed in your control cab.

Thanks chaps after testing the panel all looked good so i went to the filters and found them blocked so removed a filter and blow me the fan fail light went off.

Thanks for your help
