hi, looking to bring supply to a newly built garage, have 6mm run from the outside meter box with main switch in it to the garage, goin to put rcd protected CU in garage and wire my lights and sockets.
Problem is i cant get 6mm into house and was enquiring if it is ok to run supply from here..... going to split cables after main switch into henley block and go to house and garage from the henley block... Is this ok to do this

Sounds ok. Have you considered volt drop/ cable selection size/ size of protection/ IP rating of CU.

Coming from Henley block to 30ma rcd in garage, 16amp for radial and 10amp for lighting circuit, garage only about 8 meters away, any other suggested ways much appreciated...

Can just put the 30ma rcd breaker in the outside meter box, then in a 3 way CU in garage then cable would be protected, still wandering if this is allowed tho due to regulations, just not as up to date on the regs as I should be... Lol
