hi

How can I find out ze and the supply fuses info at a factory installation for a certificate?
I cant turn all the factory off to disconnect and do a ze test and I cant remove the service head to see fuses.
The niceic have said that you should put not verified on the certificate or phone the supplier and ask them.
I have phoned Eon and they said they have no idea what the fuses are and can only say the Ze should be no higher than 0.8 for the tns supply.
I want to knowwhat others do in this situation ?
I have installed new circuits.
Answers please

I don't think that's a legitimate way of calculating Ze.

However you could ascertain Ze by Enquiry of the Distributor.

By measurement or enquiry is on the forms.

I think as long as your Zs's are well within limits then you should be ok.

You can always enter 0.8 on the cert and note it.

Thanks guys

I did call eon but they didnt know just said it shouldnt be higher than 0.8 ohms

In that case I would record 0.8 Ohms as your Ze. (It's quite normal for them to quote the maximum, e.g. 0.8 Ohms for a TN-S system.)

Ok thanks ill put that down.
As regards to the supply fuses do you put down N/V in the box?
