Sure Test 61-255 MFT tester

Has anyone had any problems with the Ideal sure test 61-255 Mft, like spurious Ze and Zs readings also R2 readings, when compared to a megger the readings are way out?

Hi brendeigo, welcome to the forum. This tester is rare in the UK, but common in USA. Ask your question on an American forum where you will get a better response from larger pool of users.

Thanks for that, I think I will be throwing it back at the rep, as I have all ready had it back to him regarding a Zs issue and they found no fault?

It when you get 0.07 Ohms for Ze on a TNS system with the sure test, then with the Megger LT320 (just for comparrison) get 0.14 Ohms which looks about right, you tend to wonder.
