Are there any bathroom fans out there which you can cable to using mini trunking. Got called to a job to put an exractor into a new bathroom. And the extractor had been missed and is required to be signed off buy building control. Also is there any stipulation on if its a timer fan or just stanard. Is it ok to mount isolator next to fan so i can use same trunking. It will be clear off all bathroom zones.

Doesn't have to be timer and yes isolator can be adjacent.

Had a similar problem recently - builder asked me to put up a fan on the inside wall and connect fan to a plug (utility room), and put a grill on the outside wall - didn't bother about the 4" pipe between them.
Building inspector saw the fan and grill - didn't look too closely - signed it off - decorator went in and remove fan and grill and made good mounting holes - everyone happy!

This will be a permanent fixture. i think im gonna install some wider trunking. Have the fan one side. and isolator the other. Then cut a small entry hole in the side of the fan. Its about an inch think so shudnt look to nasty. mw cert and jobs a gooden. What would you charge to do this. Im not v good at pricing n seem to alwasy come short.
