was looking at job this evening and planned to use downlights throughout but on one part of the ceiling i only have 60mm max, so has to be surface mounted fittings on this part..

any good surface mounted fittings out there youd reccomend.. one guy at wholesalers was on about led version, if you have any links be great or what you have used recently??? for ideas

at the minute there is fitzgerald fittings with 4x2ft tubes in whuich maybe suited newsagent but not a cafe ....? thx

aint got the room on the part of building i talking about thats why down lights preferred, i could squeeze no fire rated in but we dont want to do that with a flat above.....

if i was to use recessed downlights it was 7 rows , so does that mean 7 rows of track lighting.... could work

i was thinking maybe a ceiling tile kind of light wich would be about same thickness as grid which is probably 30mm max? hard to find or a slimline surace fitting say 1200 x 600

Used six of the 600 by 600 led fittings in a recent office job 10mts by 10mts in suspended ceiling worked perfect, they also come in warm white which would be better for a cafe environment. 10mm depth but you will need room for remote led driver
