Hi lads tried a quick search nothing came up, hope you can help, the IT dept has asked me if it is feasible to fit an SPD in the tails before the CU to protect the whole building against V spikes, anyone have experience of knowledge of these ?

Thanks Lads
J

I would usually fit surge arrestors after the isolator. Is there no room in the CU itself? I'm sure it would be easier in the CU as you'll need a decent earth connection as well.
