SWA 70c or 90c?

hi guys just a quick question, as i understand it there's two main types of SWA,
pvc and xlpe

is pvc 70c thermoplastic (page 280 brb)

and xlpe 90c thermosetting (page 290 brb)

also any tips on identifying which one a cable is?

The temperature ratings refer to their maximum operating teperatures.

Cables should be clearly stamped as to which one they are.

when trying to identifiy xlpe conductors look smaller than pvc i guess to to the way the insulation is applied

XPLE will have the temperature range moulded along with the voltage rating on the outer serving.
