Swa and seperate earth

Was working at a HMO house that's being renovated bit by bit. The work has been started by another spark and I've been drafted in to help. The other spark has wired sub mains, wired in 16mm 3c Swa with a seperate 10mm earth run with it. I've rewired the lights in one apartment and the sockets have been rewired by the other spark. I need to provide a certificate for the letting agent (the other spark lives down south) so a tenant can move in. Firstly what certificate should I issue? EIC or EICR? Obviously I'm certifying my own work (lights) and work done by others(sockets and sub main). The other spark has tested his own work and sent me the results but I have re-tested it as it's me who's doing the cert.
Secondly what size should I put for the cpc for the sub main, 16mm or 16mm + 10mm = 26mm?
Hopefully this makes sense!!

is the 10mm a bonding conductor, or just paralled with the 16mm core in the SWA? if the latter, it's pointless.

It's the latter. Not sure why he's run it but he's done it with all sub mains!

I would think an EICR usually incorrectly referred to as a Landlords Certificate,if its going to be let.

You can't use an EICR to certify new work!

You can either get the other electrician to provide a certificate for his part of the work, or accept responsibility for his work and certify the whole lot.

I think I'll accept responsibility for his work. I've seen his standard of work and it's good. It's only a few sockets and his results were very similar to mine. What about the recorded size of the cpc?

I meant EICR in addition to certifying the new work.

If your happy with his test results and happy of his standard of work then certify the whole lot. No farting around with diferent certs
