I find tightening the locknuts on Swa glands is always a struggle when theres a lip on the consumer units/dbs , usually use a combination of grips and adjustables/spanners even tried several types of bush spanners
Be interested to hear what works for you lads!
 
Thanks lads , as they say every little helps ! will definately be looking at buying the locknut/bush spanners off Lennys link also noticed a conduit bending guide (manual) which will be of interest to people doing Am2 etc :)
 
i got one of those in the link
they are ok but, it was hit and miss, the bush spanners they make are good and i heard the conduit bending guide was very helpful to the beginner.
I found that Knipex 180mm cobra grips were far better on the lock nuts.
