SWA gland size

Got to make off some 6mm 5 core SWA, 19mm OD & 15mm dia inner sheath, looked at lots of tables but none cover 6mm 5 core gland sizes. It's going to be a 20L or 25 but can't find out what the max diameter will go through a 20L, anyone know?
PCW outdoor type needed.

^^ I'd say a 25 too if you want to bring more than a whisker of the inner sheath through.

Try them both to see whats easier.Then use the 25,coz it's that...

We use 25mm glands for 5 core 6mm SWA cables. But as stated, you can always check the back of the gland package before you purchase. I'm pretty sure you can also use a 20mm standard gland too (not an S), but it's going to be a tight fit...

dont be fooled into getting a gland the next size up either thinking it will fit....it wont...
all you`ll do is struggle to get the armourings bitten by the taper on the gland....

Why not just get the wholesaler to do the work for you?  If it was me I'd be ordering the cable and asking for appropriate gland pack...

Probably followed up with an angry phone call when the wrong cable and wrong gland pack arrive mind lol

which is exactly what happened the other week when i needed to gland off some 3 core 25mm CSA....
so was there for nearly an hour longer than i wanted whilst my mate went back for the correct glands....

Thanks for the replies and links, I'd looked at the tables and sizing on back of packs but 6mm 5 core doesn't seem very popular . Will check with the wholesaler but 25 seems to be the way to go.

This pdf from Bicon states the maximum overall diameter of cable for 20CW gland is 20.8mm so very tight for your cable (generally about 18-20mm).
However for 25CW minimum is 17mm min and 27.2mm max so this should be OK for 6mm 5 core.
