SWA or T&E???

Hello all,

I am running a distribution circuit to a sectioned off part of someone's house, I'm going to be running the cable under the wooden floor and dropping down in to the room from above. I can use either 10mm SWA or 16mm T&E to achieve this but was just wondering what people think would be the easiest cable to try and pull through joists and what not?. I assume neither option is going to be huge laugh!

Its obvious what the easier out of the two is to pull through joists.

I wouldn't like to pull a 16mm T and E through joists and as for 10mm SWA no chance

Does this distribution circuit require the cable to have earthed mechanical protection?

Why is it going to be so difficult to pull a cable through some joists?

The op is fishing on how and why and what cable to use. He should leave it to a Qualified person if he needs to ask these sort of questions.

Perfectly aware of what cables are sufficient for the task, thanks. Was merely asking for an opinion (related to the question in hand obviously) as I've not pulled SWA or 16mm T&E through joists before.
