HI ALL

Got to install an Air Conditioning unit backup system for a comms room

The unit is a super inverter runnning at 4A starting and building up to FLC 24A length of run is around less than 10 metres

Going to run a 2.5 SWA cable looked in regs table 4D4A REFERENCE METHOD E can take up to 31A

ALL SEEMS OK TO ME

Not all maufactures make 25a fuses and only 1 amp to play with dont give me confidence, id personally use 4mm the price differance isnt worth worring about,not for 10mtrs.

I would run 4mm and 32A c type mcb for cable protection. you can get 25A in some makes ie hagar but with 1 amp lee way, an inductive load, and an inverter 32A is a better choice methinks

It would it be ok to run a flexi armoured have used it in the past on other installs have to earth the braid.
