Switching device ?

working on a kitchen refurb, customer wants to relocate washer and drier.
There is only one socket close by on the ring. Rather than spur from another point which will be tricky, anyone know of a device that switches between appliances so only one can be used at once ?

Can't you just spur another socket side by side or turn what I assume is a single socket into a double??

There are no sockets there at the moment, only one the other side of the wall which I will spur off but no other sockets close

If you're doing a kitchen refurb, you don't want to be bodging the electrics. Do it right. I wouldn't be happy if someone installed a priority device in my new kitchen!

If the socket on the other side of the wall is on the ring.... (check, it might be middle of a radial) then it’s easy enough to extend the ring from there. Through joint in the back of the box.
