I was looking at purchasing the SEW T1825 PSC tester. Has anyone got any experiences with this tester or with SEW testers in general. In my country it's also marketed as a Toptronic T1825 but from what I can tell this is just a re-badged SEW tester.

I realise it's not a Fluke or a Megger but at the price I can import them (<GBP100.00 including shipping) I wouldn't expect it to be. I'm looking at importing 5 of them to start with and as long as it's a solid, reliable and accurate instrument I'd be happy.

Any comments welcome.

I have no experience of these testers I have only looked at your link to SEW. Just my thoughts on what i have seen there.
They seem like they advertise a complex system but the cases (compared to megger, etc.) seem to be very likely to break with the clips and lack of edging, though they do look similar to the robin tester and since I do not know the material I may be wrong.
The earth resistance system sounds easy to use.
The one you link to does not do a PEFC (the 1826NA does), though I do not know why you could not swap leads around.
I am not sure for what you want to use them but they would not be very useful in the UK for installation testing as the PSC is max 6KA, would not come up much in domestic but may cause some difficulties also there is no non trip function for RCDs, but considering the accuracy of those measurements maybe it is irrelevant.

From their site it looks like the design of the circuitry and system is by Toptronic and the case design by SEW.

Overall gbp100 seems about the right sort of price for the kit specified and one could get a similar functionality for the same price in the UK.
