Hi

I think my options will be limited here but..

I need to run tails from the meter box outside to a CU inside but there is a door inbetween the two.

i cant get into the cavity to run the tails and dont want to run them outside but there is a shower cubicle on the other side of the wall from the meter box, what would you suggest?

this is a new installation

thanks

If this is a new build then i would probably be talking to the architect as it sounds like a classic design problem, either with the positioning of the shower or the meter box, creating a false wall behind the shower may be one answer but length of tail may be an issue, without a plan or layout its hard to see a solution.

i agree with dark wood , false wall sounds the best option as you cant go up the cavity any more , as dark wood has mention the tail length may be a problem you may have to install a switch fuse in the external box so you can protect the tails
