What is the main purpose of putting a SF inline with the main head for running mains further than 2m to location of CU?
I know it must be to do with the operation time of the DNO head but I can't figure out correct terminology.

if tails are > 3m, then it's recommended to fit a switch fuse with a lower In than the DNO fuse in order to protect the DNO fuse from a fault on the tails.

I really can't see a problem with it assuming there is a neutral there.
