I have installed a new 17th edition board and have noticed the Incoming supply Tails are not secured,is it written somewhere that they have to be secured?there is about half a meters worth of tails showing and wonder if this will be overkill?

nothing ive ever heard off - with the exception that tails can support their own wait due to the size of conductor but this would also depend on length
