isit ok to use plastic trunking outside....

i plan to come from the attic in a bungalow down the outside wall in plastic trunking and run a piece of copex from trunking under blocked pavement to shed.....

reason im thinking trunking is , i can hide the plumbers pipe in the trunking if i section it off

I know for a fact, Standard PVC trunking won't last any time, it's not UV protected. There are variants that are made for adverse conditions which are also UV protected, but tend to be on the expensive side but rarely white in colour!!

why do you need to come out of the loft?
why would you consider flexable plastic conduit under the paving slabs
why would you consider running trunking down the face of the bungalow
what about the earting arrangemens
how far is the shed from the dwelling
i can,t swear on this forum as children can access it apparently

So i take it just tie the armour into cpc connection in plastic adaptable box, would you then use a duct to shed.... ??????? The swa is rated for lying in ground... And ajay go away. And you wont swear cause youl get abolished for a week
white pvc conduit with t&e inside to adaptable box at bottom of house will look very neat if house is white! I use black if house is normal brick, only looks good if dead straight and equal spaced saddled though!

do swa gland to plastic as you would with metal box????
Same as a metal box but the plastic is thicker so may mean not much room for extra nuts, use a piranha earth nut or the like to make it easier. Obviously you will need a fly lead from the gland as you will not be able to earth through the box!
Remember that the box may deform more easily so make sure the SWA is not under strain to reach the box or it will look terrible.
