Taking the 2357 602 exam whats it like?????

Hi everyone!

I'm taking the 2357 602 exam on the 29th and was just wondering who else has taken this, what's it like? What questions are they likely to throw at me? And is it hard?

Any questions answered would be great!!!!

Holty, everything in the 602 exam should have been covered with the lead upto it. So really its just going through that material and try to work out away to remember most if not all.

Each 602 online exam is different - cannot remember if online or not...
Only did it last year!

Just believe in what you've learnt mate you'll be fine.

Cheers buddy! The only thing is, the whole class is so worried about the 609 (online) which we have on the 5th Feb the teacher has also been help out with that and not focusing on the 602 lol!

Onlines are all different - some will get the same questions but not in the same time or sometimes even same format. You can only do as well as you believe you'll do. Thing is you'll get a chance to pass it if you fail. So same with when me and Si went into the online exam - just do your best and be ready for
Any question.

Edit - as i see 609 has been more of the focus - think its time all of your group tell your lecture we need to focus on the up coming exam NOT the distant 609. Do not understand why a lecture would jump ahead of himself to miss out important information for an exam.

Me and Si were lucky we had Mike Davies - who does segments for the sparks mags. 3 year course squeezed into 2!!

It's the students.... They are panicking , I have said to them that if all they focus on, is the 609, then the other exams will sneak up, and have them stuffed! But they won't listen.....they seem to think all the other exams are really easy apart from the 609 lol how naive are they???? Lol

I don't quite understand why the numbers change!

When i did the college/exam side of 2357 it was 301 302 309 etc.

Anyway mate, just keep yourself focused and don't worry about the others IMO.

That's what I plan on doing mate sod the rest lol

A lot of the study material Still says 301,302 etc but it is now 601, 602 etc. I have no idea why!

dont panic about it mate, apart from 309 which is 2 hour exam the rest are not bad

Same thing happens over here mate. Second year apprentices here have two main subjects for the latter half of the year: EIP2 - Arrangement and Protection is all about fuses/CB, discrimination and design, while AC Machines covers Transformers and Motors. Many students focus on the harder math of AC Machines and neglect the 'easy' EIP2 until they fail - doh!
