The UK Parliament to examinate the feed-in tariff reduction proposal
03.11.2011: The Environmental Audit Committee and Energy and Climate Change
Committee of the UK Parliament will examine the government’s proposal to halve the
feed-in tariffs for small-scale photovoltaic installations. The two committees asked to
receive written evidence that shows the real impact of the tariffs on the solar market
and wants the government to clarify how the incentive mechanism has been managed
to date. The two committees invite organizations and members of the public to submit
in writing their views on the feed-in-tariff scheme by Nov. 23, 2011. …

Lets hope..................... they should have least postponed the reduction until the select committee announce its findings

Something tells me with all the Euro collapse they will be mega skint and look for ways to force austerity measures to the public again. One quick way is a FiTs reduction. After all the talks are over a reduction will still stand.

Looking at this last year the more they are skint the quicker and deeper the cuts. Then next year financial year (1st May 2012)they will be making plans for the next reduction.
