thats the point fossil fuels are dimminishing!!! when them are gone then what thats why prices are so high renewable is the way forward now

i disagree, theres a lot of coal left under our feet, solar prices would also be high without subsidy, its ironic that one of the biggest manufactures of solar panels is china, the country with the highest pollution in the world, the coal industry would also create more uk jobs and boost local communities than the solar industry could.imo

Sorry Sedgy, but the reply to this one will be "it is all in the Green Deal", that is why we (the government) have come up with this fantasic idea, sadly though, most that read this are aware that the GD just will not work, and it is just political.

Maybe I am just negative about all this, but it is my opinion.

I do understand where you are coming from, and there probably is a lot more coal left, however, with the worlds demand for energy, to dig up all that carbon and burn it so it gets released back into the atmosphere can not be a good move really.

There are other ways to produce energy, but sadly the ideas get stopped by oil companies/governments as they can not earn from them.

I feel in the near future things will change, but sadly the whole cash cow for the western world is out of control.
