Renewable energy startup is seeking a Technical Co-Founder to help create a company that is both socially and financially rewarding. The Co-Founder will have the opportunity to work with a team of successful innovative entrepreneurs and will become an integral part of growing an exciting new venture in the solar energy market.
Are you a skilled electrician ready to make the move into a leadership/ownership position in the booming renewables market?
Technical co-founder wanted for a renewable energy business, providing commercial and domestic solar installations across the UK.
Interested in renewable energy and have a passion for energy saving products? Do you have a background in the installation of domestic or commercial scale Solar PV panels and related systems, such as Battery Storage?
We are also open to partnering with MCS installers who have the capacity for additional work and are willing to join forces with us. You supply the technical knowledge; we supply the sales and marketing know-how. We take care of everything on the front-end, from multi-channel lead generation to sales reps visiting the customer for a site survey and quote. We need experienced installation partners to fulfil the back-end.

We are currently seeing a huge market demand in our high intent lead data - needed to make a strong entry in the solar market! What we need now are the technical skills and capacity to manage and deliver customer installs.
Initially, your role will focus on establishing our Solar PV installations team. It’s likely that you’ll either be currently MCS accredited or know what the process involves. For our model to work sufficiently and seamlessly, our first task will be to get the relevant MCS business accreditation's that are required to fit residential and commercial solar panels. This process will take several months.
Ongoing, you will build a quality nationwide team of installers, involving daily leadership and management of the back-end function. You will lead install teams, ensuring projects are delivered and installed on time, to specification, and standards. This will include the procurement of materials ensuring efficient delivery to sites.
It’s possible that you’ve never been a business owner or even embarked upon any entrepreneurial endeavours, yet! However, what’s more important is that you are entrepreneurial in the way you work, and aspire to start, build, and grow your own business.
This is a Co-Founder role and as such it's not a salaried job. There will be a transition to a salaried role when company revenues support this. Until then it will be a revenue split with the other co-founders. To give you some perspective, our previous solar ventures have all gone from 0-100K+ turnover within 6 weeks of business. We’re experienced entrepreneurs at building and growing startups and businesses across multiple sectors, including solar, and know what it takes to make this business a success.
