Temporary extension of meter tails

About to order the bits to build a temporary DB rig for use when doing board changes. Just the usual small unit, with an RCD and a couple of ways for sockets for site lamps, tools and the all important kettle.

Anyone got any suggestions for what to use to extend the tails to the temporary board when they are in an awkward position (coming in at ceiling level etc). Obviously don't want a whacking great Henley block hanging around to bash my head on while installing the new kit.

Do Wago do lever connectors for 25mm cables?!

Why not just snip a few cores from the cable and use twist on connectors, safe as houses lol

Was thinking about the times when the meter or henley is in a cupboard outside and the permanent tails go through the wall.

These single pole screw connector blocks might do the job. I've used the smaller sizes, and they're really good for joining any type of cable (solid, stranded, or fine stranded), especially where you need to be able to add or remove cables. Nice on mate, thanks. If I can get a pair of 25mm singles in each one then they'll do the job nicely, afterall, they're only going to be in use for a couple of hours at most.
