Hi all,

Have an unusual scenario [well for me anyway as a streetlighting spark] have some customer specified uplighters & LED path lights. Manufacturer has already confirmed that SWA cannot be made off directly to the fittings as IP rating will be compromised. Supply cable has been calculated at 2.5 so its not a massive cable incoming. Has anyone used or can recommend a suitable waterproof enclosure that can be used to term the armoured's into [loop in & out so not too small] and flex out with flex into the fitting? needs to be buried so its like a compact adaptable box i'm after. tried a few google searches but nothing suitable came up..
Cheers in advance!

NB suppliers welcome to contact me direct as i need a few dozen: [email protected]

How about WISKA boxes coupled with the MAGIC Gel? Search for them at tlc-direct, for some reason when I tried to post the link it didn't work........

Hi All,

yeah there are many different types, also the Wiska box i have used before.
Just wondered if there was any other option to speed up the labour intensive task of drilling the boxes, fitting stuffing glands etc etc

Those Pratley boxes are about the best you can buy, they out class just about all the other JB's when it comes to direct burial, or doing complete external installations in SWA... but tend to be expensive, ...which often excludes them from being considered!!
