test an alarm circuit ?

if theres a circuit bak to the cu that just consists of the doorbell and the burgler alarm do u still do all the normal tests ??

I would disconnect both the doorbell and alarm from the circuit and test as normal, neither would be very pleased if you did an IR test with them connected.

I would agree or do insulation resistance at 250 on that circuit
