Noticed the low battery level indicator today so got home and changed them. It's dead!
Anyone know anywhere I can hire a meter from in Tyneside? I've got 2 jobs tomorrow that I don't want to put off.

You can borrow mine mate but its not calibrated if thats an issue?

How far out of calibration is it mate, thanks very much for the offer but I might need it for a week or so.

Its a Megger 1552 in brand new condition as i don't do much on my own. Had it a couple of years but never bothered with a calibration cert as i obviously don't need one!

Trev, Test Meter (here) do hires, at very reasonable rates - I've used them myself when mine was in for service for ages.

Do none of your local wholesalers have one for hire, I know there are one or two near me that do. Although I suppose its a little late tonight to find out.

Don't have them mate, my Metrel has never flickered until now. Pretty soon I'll have a Di-Log and I'll use the Metrel as a spare.

Okay, all my test equipment is separate, company issue, but I like it that way. PS my IR tester is my own, no need for me job. lol
